The rapid increase in the internet shopping will surely lead to closing of shops in town and cities. According to me, I completely agree with the above statement because of the benefits of online shopping. The further paragraphs will explain my views in detail.
The main advantage of online shopping is the discount it offers. Applications such as Amazon, Flipkart etcetera provides a wide range of discounts on materials like clothes, shoes, accessories etcetera. Money being the most important thing, people tend to buy things online due to the offers. In addition to it, there are wide range of collections of clothes and shoes available online than in the store. Due to this, many stores in towns and cities created an application of their own. For example, research conducted in Finland about the number of people involved in online shopping stated that more than 50% of country’s population were shopping things on internet.
The other reason of growing the demand for online shopping is its flexibility. To be precise, many individuals would prefer shopping at home rather than going out. Ordering things virtually has become very popular these days. Things can be ordered at any time and from anywhere. There are many applications developed these days namely Blinkit and Zepto which deliver the required materials in very less time. Moreover, everyday products are also available online like toothbrush, comb etcetera. Another reason can be the lower price of the product when compared to in-store. For instance, girls nowadays like to buy clothes online because of the price and the quality.
Online shopping has rapidly increased and may lead to the closure of shops in cities and towns. I strongly agree with the statement because of its variety of discounts and flexibility
